Dan Potthast is in the good books of ska fans wordwide for bringing together quality-songwriting and hefty ska, first with his legendary band MU 330 in the 1990s, later solo or with his current band Dan P. & The Bricks. In 2018 they released the fab album “When We Were Fearless” (Asian Man Records). The sound is new wave ska, melodic with an edge, with organ und brass that go far beyond the 2 chord-structure from many colleagues.
