About the initiator
Iām Joachim Uerschels, a Ska fan, singer and songwriter, into this music since 1980. I have been making Ska music since 1984, most of the time with my band The Braces, more recently with the Alpha Boys or in a laid back acoustic line up as Joe Scholes. At my blog joescholes.com I write about adventures with my former band The Braces and document the way to my next album. I would love if you could take the time and listen to my band the FRIGHTNRS summer EP release. We are a very strong NY based rocksteady reggae band and I guarentee you have never heard another band today that has the vintage jamaican sound that we do.
